- Full proposal submitted to NSF-FIBR program February 2007
- Preliminary PCR amplifications and sequencing of trial baseline markers successful in all 6 species as well as a species from a progenitor lineage
- 10 individuals of both Dubautia menziesii and D. reticulata, generated from stem cuttings taken in the field, are currently in cultivation in the greenhouses at Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden.
- Population of Wilkesia gymnoxiphium growing at NTBG
- Cuttings growing well in misting chamber at Clemson University
- Pipeline and software identified, preparing for download and integration with system
